The most adorable Kentucky Derby Style viewing party, the Denver Mini Derby, returns with a NEW downtown location and even more fun than attendees have grown to love over the years! Get ready for a day of celebrating like never before with mesmerizing mini horses, irresistibly cute corgis, and unlimited craft cocktail sampling to live music and a DJ, all while viewing the official Kentucky Derby on giant streaming screens.

Previously held at the Stanley Market Place, this year’s event takes over Auraria Campus at 1100 Curtis Street in Denver, providing attendees with a more spacious area for viewing, socializing, and accessing the open bar. Denver’s favorite viewing party with a twist invites you to dawn your most creative and elegant attire, complete with over-the-top hats and fascinators, for a day of charity races. The Denver Mini Derby benefits Next Step Horse Rescue, a non-profit based in Colorado Springs that helps retrain and rehabilitate abused and neglected horses nationwide.

Guests will enjoy the following:

Craft cocktails
Best dressed contests
Photo ops with the mini horses
Mini horse race
Corgi race
Live viewing of the Kentucky Derby on the big screen
Live music

As a bonus, VIP guests can enjoy a VIP-only bar, VIP-only food options, access to the VIP area that includes seating, and full access to the event and races. You can purchase your tickets here! They are tiered, so if you’re considering attending the event, I recommend buying tickets before prices increase again. The event sells out every year.
